The John McDouall Stuart Society has an extensive collection of artifacts and memorabilia from the explorations and daily lives of Stuart and his Companions.

The Stuart Collection is deeemed to be a collection of National Significance.

The Stuart Collection is housed on the northern end of the first floor of the Adelaide Masonic Centre, 254 North Terrace, Adelaide, South Australia.

You can come in and browse the Collection by yourself from 10:00 to 16:00 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. Please check in with reception before you view the Collection. If you wish for an in depth tour personally guided by a Society committee member, please email us from the contact page on this website.

Covid-19 update: As of September 23rd 2021, access to the Stuart Collection is possible.

Please note that general tours of the Adelaide Masonic Centre are conducted on Thursdays at 2:00 pm or by appointment – Phone: 08 8223 1633. These tours briefly pass through the Stuart Collection.
