On April 18th 2021, a ceremony to honour Stuart, his Companions & his supporters will be held at Stuart’s statue, Victoria Square, Adelaide, SA at 2: 00 pm.

Mr Leigh Radford, President, Royal Geographical Society of SA will lay a commemorative wreath and deliver a short speech.

The gathering will then walk to the Flinders St Baptist church’s Mead Hall, where we will be addressed by Mr Bob Major about another explorer, Ernest Giles.

A short Annual General Meeting will follow. As at 31.3.2021 there are no Covid-19 pandemic restrictions in place, so we expect that we will be able to enjoy an afternoon cup of tea & social chat. Please bring a plate of afternoon tea to share.

All are welcome – especially visitors.
